Comments Off on hockeydata Christmas greetings

For this year’s Christmas we want to take another path and remember the original sense of these days.
Therefore we decided to support two institutions which are important to us instead of investing into cards and presents for our customers.
Hence hockeydata donates its money to the institution “Haus der Stille” in Graz and to the youngsters of the women’s hockey team “Ice Cats Linz”.
As a company which is closely-linked to youth and women’s hockey we know that every cent counts for keen hockey girls.

We wish you a merry and peaceful Christmas and all the best in 2018!

As soon as the hockey season was over hockeydata invited all employees to the traditional team meeting where the past months are evaluated and reviewed. This year we had a special idea for our crew! After a long and intense working day in Graz/Austria the whole team headed off to the escape room game “Braination” which made our employees use their brains again. Divided into two groups in two different rooms with different topics the teams had one hour to escape the room by solving hard and various riddles.
Good news first: all employees could make it unscathed! And the fun did not come off badly either!
With such a high level of enthusiasm and joy we are really looking forward to the next season!

New international terrain for hockeydata in February!
From 11th till 18th February 2017 hockeydata contributed the official statistics for the hockey tournament of the European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 in Erzurum (Turkey) in cooperation with Swiss Timing. Our team consisting of Michael Rotheneder and Christoph Pachmajer gathered all statistics to the games of the participating teams from Turkey, Russia, Belarus, France and Slovakia. Already the opening game between host Turkey and Russia made our statisticians sweat – historical 42 goals on the Russian side had to be entered (final score 42:0). The Russians also won out over Belarus in the final game (final score 7:1) and ensured the victory of the tournament. We are very proud to have made an essential contribution to this great international event and we hope that many more are yet to come!

But it was not only the crew of hockeydata who was fascinated by the great programme – more than 3.500 spectators were celebrating this event.
